1. storing files in Google Drive
In Google Drive, there are three methods for storing files.
- You can upload the files from your computer, or
- You can add shared files to your drive or
- You can create your file in Google Drive through an application
2. Complete the Activity
1. Save an Image from the Internet:
- Open up a new tab on your browser
- Search for an image that identifies Cloud Computing.
- Right-click on the image and click on SAVE IMAGE and SAVE the image file on your computer.
- Go to your Exercise Folder in your TECHNOLOGY FOLDER.
- Upload the image file in your Exercise Folder.
- Goto Shared With Me
- The sample file has been shared with a link. Click HERE to open the file and read instructions
- Click on File and ADD To My Drive
- Click on Organize and Create a Folder in your Technology Folder named as Resources and move it there
- Go to your Exercise Folder in your Technology Folder
- Click on New and Blank Google Document
- Type My First Document and close the tab.
- View your Exercise Folder and see what you have in it.
